Rob Blackmore AFA, Principal and Adviser - Nelson Bays, Marlborough and West Coast

 

Rob has been involved in the Financial Services industry for over 30 years with all but 3 years as a Client Adviser and Investment Planner. The 3 year "break" was in management and training roles for one of Australia's largest Financial Service institutions. But his love is working with clients, helping them plan and achieve their financial and retirement goals. In 2010 Rob completed his study for AFA status and is an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA).

 

Rob has been involved in the business for the last 25 years and has been instrumental in developing it from a franchise to an independently owned business looking after the retirement planning needs of its clients who live throughout the Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast regions.

 

Rob is a widower and has 2 adult sons living in Melbourne. He enjoys regular walks around the port hills of Nelson and when able, enjoys taking his Harley on road trips around the region - sometimes calling on clients. He also enjoys caravaning in his 1974 Zephyr Safari called Miggy.  He and Marg were long time supporters of Habitat for Humanity, and Rob continues this today.

 

Maree Stade, Trust Manager, Office Administrator - Nelson

 

Maree has worked for the firm for 19 years in various roles, her previous experience working in a bank, accounting firm and law office has put her in good stead for her role as Trust Administrator which she has held for over 9 years.

 

She enjoys the challenges estate planning brings along with helping clients find solutions when they are planning the future protection and distribution of their assets. As you can imagine she has gotten to know our trust clients well - another facet of the job she enjoys.

 

Maree currently works part time with her spare time (if any!) spent with her young daughter and partner David. She loves the outdoors - gardening, walking, hiking, biking and canoeing. Maree also has a passion for travel overseas.

 

 

Sarah Loza, Office Administrator - Blenheim, Registered Financial Adviser

 

Sarah joined us in May 2017 when we took on the Marlborough business.  Sarah's background includes working in corporate finance for a major international financial institution and more recently as a mortgage adviser.  She's excited to introduce our clients to the benefits of KiwiSaver as part of our retirement planning service.  Sarah works part time and keeps the Blenheim office ticking over when Rob is in Nelson.

 

Outside of work Sarah is occupied with her family - husband MJ and their four children.  Supporting the kids in their school lives and various sporting activities keeps her busy.  She loves running her dog, Betty, in the beautiful Marlborough countryside, enjoying the local produce and binge-watching a good Netflix series.
